A <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-leopard-kills-8-yea-old-child-collecting-mangoes-in-forest-near-thane-23626959" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">leopard </a>was spotted inside the premises of a private housing society near Pratap Nagar in Jogeshwari East, close to the Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road, triggering concern among residents.
The movement of the animal was captured on CCTV cameras installed within the society.

The Thane Forest Department&rsquo;s territorial team was informed about the sighting and subsequently visited the location to assess the situation.
