Western Railway completes installation of 19 steel girders for new FOB at Marine Lines station

A total workforce of 60 personnel participated in the operation, including 20 railway staff members and 40 contractor personnel, Western Railway said in an official statement

Western Railway on Sunday said that it has completed a major phase of construction for a new 12-metre-wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at Marine Lines station.

A total of 19 steel girders, each measuring 20 metres in length and weighing a combined 95 metric tonnes, were successfully launched at the station, officials said.
