Mumbai Metro Line 9 trial run halted due to technical glitch near Dahisar East

Mumbai commuters during the early hours of Wednesday faced a brief inconvenience as a minor technical glitch occurred during a trial run on Metro Line 9. Metro Line 9 will run from Dahisar East to Mira Bhayander. However, the services were disrupted towards line 7 as a technical glitch near Dahisar East occurred. The issue occurred when a train transitioning from Line 9 towards Line 7 encountered a technical glitch at the point section. The incident led to a temporary halt of the Metro train operations on line 7. 

Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation, while posting on a social media platform, said that, “During today’s trial run on Metro Line 9, while the train was transitioning towards Line 7, a minor technical issue was encountered near the point section at Dahisar East. The train briefly halted, but services were swiftly managed to ensure smooth passenger movement.”
