Finally, the WEH and EEH will get connected with a Metro! Long-pending work begins on the Pink Line 6, which will run between Swami Samarth Nagar and Vikhroli

The Mumbai Metro Pink Line 6 is finally rolling over the rails! The Pink Line 6 from Swami Samarth Nagar (Andheri) to Vikhroli (EEH) will finally cross over the Western Railway, work for which will begin this Sunday. While much of the civil work of the line is complete, the crucial stretches over Western and Central Railway have been pending. The much-awaited launching of steel girders is happening on Sunday.

The Mumbai Metro Pink Line 6 is 15.31 Km in length, running from Swami Samarth Nagar to Vikhroli (EEH) passing through Jogeshwari, WEH, and Powai. This line is fully elevated and it connects Western Express & Eastern Express Highways.
