Mumbai witnessed intense monsoon activity between 8 am and 1 pm on Sunday, with strong winds triggering widespread tree fall incidents across the city and suburbs, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The civic body recorded average rainfall of 22.79 mm in the city, 38.69 mm in the eastern suburbs, and 36.99 mm in the western suburbs during the period. Despite the downpour, no waterlogging complaints were reported from any part of Mumbai.
