Red alert issued for Ratnagiri as IMD predicts heavy rains, thunderstorm in parts of Maharashtra

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued a red alert for Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra, predicting heavy rainfall.
It stated, "Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places."
