Mumbai witnessed light rainfall over the past 24 hours, while civic authorities responded to multiple rain-related incidents, including short circuits, tree falls and partial house collapse complaints, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) latest monsoon situation report.

The report, covering the period from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday, stated that the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) Colaba observatory recorded 6.2 mm rainfall, while Santacruz recorded 0.8 mm during the 24-hour period.
