Mumbai: Five-year-old dead, three injured after roof of building collapses in Kurla

The medical superintendent of Rajawadi Hospital stated that the injured persons were stable and undergoing treatment

A five-year-old child died and three others were injured after the roof of an under-construction structure in an MHADA building collapsed near Ram Manohar Lohiya Road in Kurla West.

As per the officials of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the incident occurred at 2.40 pm on Monday. The BMC’s L ward building department officials along with Mumbai Fire Brigade, police and an ambulance was rushed to the spot. Four people were taken to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar for treatment. One of them Afan Khan (5) was reported brought dead while three others - Rafina Shaikh (43), Irfan Khan (33) and Mohammed Zikran (6) are receiving treatment.
