The Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd (MRVC) is making progress on the development and augmentation of EMU maintenance facilities under MUTP-IIIA, aimed at strengthening the maintenance infrastructure needed for the future expansion of Mumbai’s suburban railway network, an official statement said.

The programme includes the development of new EMU car sheds at Bhivpuri and Vangaon, along with the augmentation of existing maintenance facilities to support the growing suburban rolling stock fleet.
