Accused Omkarnath Pandey dressed as a lawyer
The Dindoshi court on Tuesday sentenced a 60-year-old security guard to five years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 8,000 for sneaking into a courtroom dressed as a lawyer during the hearing of a case early last year and flinging a flute at the judge.
On January 2 last year accused Omkarnath Pandey suddenly appeared in the courtroom and said, “I am Lord Krishna,” and flung a flute at the judge. He was arrested. Pandey was one of the key witnesses in the case of his brother Ashok Pandey’s death.
