Even as vaccination for those aged 18-44 years has started, youngsters are complaining of slots getting full within minutes. While the civic body has tweeted that slots open at 7.30 pm, some have complained that they are opening before time. Many are missing out on registration as the portal is closing even before the completion of the process.

“I have been trying to register for the past three days at 7.30 pm, but the slot opens and gets full immediately. It’s frustrating. I think, winning a MHADA lottery would be easier,” said a Dadar resident. Many tweeted about the issue. “On Monday it opens up at 7.27 [pm] and closes before 7.30 [pm]. It’s cheating,” a tweet read.
Meanwhile, on Monday, 3,211 people were vaccinated, including 2,394 people aged 18-44. These people were inoculated at about five civic-run centres. A few private hospitals gave the second dose to those aged 45 and above.
The civic body is ready with 2,500 doses for Wednesday and is aiming to vaccinate 500 people at each centre on Monday. The five centres include Nair, Cooper, Rajawadi, BKC Jumbo Center and SevenHills hospitals. The city has so far inoculated 24.59 lakh beneficiaries, out of which 4.91 lakh have been administered both doses. Few adverse effects cases were reported on Monday.
