Two crocodiles rescued from tank in Mumbai's Bhandup

Two young Indian marsh crocodiles trapped inside a tank at a civic facility in Mumbai's Bhandup area were safely rescued by the Forest Department and wildlife NGO RAWW. After undergoing a medical examination, the reptiles were released back into their natural habitat by the rescue team

Two young Indian marsh crocodiles trapped inside a tank at a civic water treatment facility in Mumbai's Bhandup area were rescued by the Forest Department and wildlife NGO Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare (RAWW) on Friday.

According to officials, the Mumbai Forest Department received a distress call reporting the presence of the reptiles in the tank. Forest personnel, along with wildlife rescuers from RAWW, rushed to the spot and safely rescued both crocodiles.
