<p>In a tragic incident on Sunday morning, two people died after a slab collapsed on them in the ground plus one structure in Khindipada area of Bhandup (W).</p>
<p>According to the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-at-rs-226-cr-bmc-ups-budget-for-nullah-cleaning-but-is-it-worth-it-23270013" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">BMC </a>officials, the incident was reported at 9.42 am by <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-fire-breaks-out-at-hotel-in-mulund-three-injured-23269959" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Mumbai Fire Brigade</a>.</p>

<p>As per initial reports, the incident occurred during a repair work of the ground plus one structure. Some parts of the slab collapsed on them.</p>
<p>The injured persons - Rajkumar Dhotre (19) and Ramanand Yadav (18), were taken to nearby MT Agarwal hospital were they were declared brought dead.</p>
