Mumbai weather update: IMD issues yellow alert for city, orange alert for Thane; heavy rain and gusty winds likely

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a yellow alert for Mumbai and an orange alert for Thane, forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by strong, gusty winds over the next 24 hours.
