Mumbai weather update: Intermittent rain activity in Mumbai and Thane till June 11, says IMD forecast

In its latest forecast, the IMD on Monday said the city and its suburbs are likely to witness intermittent rain activity, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, respectively

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rain and thundershowers in Mumbai and Thane till June 11, along with the possibility of gusty winds and lightning in parts of Maharashtra.
In its latest forecast on Monday, the IMD said Mumbai and its suburbs are likely to experience intermittent rain activity, even as temperatures remain high. The city is expected to record a maximum of 35.8 degrees Celsius in the island city and 35.3 degrees Celsius in the suburbs, with elevated humidity levels continuing to make conditions uncomfortable for residents.
