The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Tuesday predicted 'light to moderate spells of rain' throughout the day in Mumbai and its suburbs. As of 0800hrs, meteorologists have advised the public to be prepared for wet conditions.

"Moderate rainfall likely in city and suburbs with possibility of occasional intense spells at one or two places," the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said on Monday.
