The city and its adjoining suburbs are expected to witness generally cloudy skies with light spells of rain throughout the day, according to the latest forecast.

The IMD's Santacruz observatory recorded a maximum temperature of 31 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26.5 degrees Celsius on Monday. Meanwhile, the Colaba observatory reported a high of 31 degrees Celsius and a low of 26 degrees Celsius, as per the latest Mumbai weather updates.

Tide timings for August 4 indicate a high tide at 08:43 hrs with a height of 3.30 meters, followed by another high tide at 19:37 hrs reaching 2.88 meters. Low tide is expected at 14:49 hrs at 2.60 meters, with the next low tide occurring on August 5 at 02:18 hrs, measuring 1.44 meters.
