IMD issues yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar; warns of hot and humid weather conditions

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Friday issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Thane, Palghar and other parts of Maharashtra, predicting hot weather.

The weather department predicted that hot and humid conditions were very likely at isolated places.
