The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested a CGST Superintendent and a consultant in connection with an alleged Rs 1 crore bribery demand linked to the redevelopment of two buildings in New Panvel.

As per the official, “The accused Superintendent was posted in the Land and Building Section at the office of the Commissioner of CGST and Central Excise, Raigad, while the second accused is a CGST consultant.”
