The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Friday announced a holiday for the afternoon session of all schools under its jurisdiction amid continuous heavy rainfall across the city.

The decision was taken following directions from the Municipal Commissioner as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and avoid inconvenience caused by the prevailing weather conditions.
