A Mumbai court on Friday formally framed charges against Mohammad Shariful Islam, a Bangladeshi national accused of attacking actor Saif Ali Khan at his residence in Bandra in January last year. Additional Sessions Judge G P Deshmukh framed the charges after Islam appeared before the court and pleaded not guilty. Following the framing of charges, the case will proceed to the trial stage, where the prosecution will present evidence and witnesses in support of its allegations.
