The Shiv Sena will be part of the government, the party claims, after two of its leaders, Anil Desai and Subhash Desai, reportedly met union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi yesterday regarding the same. While some BJP leaders claim that the Sena leaders decided to approach the party, there were rumours of some senior leaders denying that such a meeting took place.

Rajya Sabha MP Anil Desai (in white), who met BJP leaders with senior leader Subhash Desai, said the Shiv Sena is hopeful that a decision mutually benefitting both parties would be taken. File pics
