Shiv Sena legislators were not getting funds and party workers were feeling "suffocated" when the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government was in power in Maharashtra, rebel leader Vijay Shivtare said here on Thursday.

By joining hands with the Congress and NCP, the party's traditional opponents, the Shiv Sena's Hindutva ideology was "weakened", he added.
