<p>In the <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-sion-hospital-hindered-us-for-over-24-hours-23351311" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">video footage</a>, it can be seen that the victim was already lying on the floor when Dr. Rajesh Dere ran over her inside the premises of Sion Hospital near gate number 7.</p>
<p>The police registered an FIR late at night on May 25 and arrested him. On May 26, the doctor was <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/mumbai-doctor-runs-over-patient-in-hospital-premises-killing-them-23351127" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">granted bail</a> by the court.</p><p>
