Five 18-year-old trekkers were rescued on Saturday night after losing their way on a hill near Dalam bungalow in Adivasi Pada, along the Mumbra bypass in Thane district, officials confirmed.
According to Yasin Tadvi, chief of Thane Municipal Corporation’s disaster management cell, the group began their trek around 3 pm but failed to find their way back. The incident was reported by the Mumbra fire station at 10:22 pm, prompting a swift response from firefighters, disaster management personnel, and local police.
