Thane Municipal Corporation conducts security drill at Kopri Ghat

The Thane Municipal Corporation conducted a mock drill simulating a drowning incident at Kopri Visarjan Ghat on Mith Bunder Road to test emergency response and inter-agency coordination. The 55-minute exercise involved police, fire brigade, TDRF and disaster management teams

The Public Health Department of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) on Monday conducted a coordinated mock drill/rehearsal simulating a drowning incident at Kopri Visarjan Ghat on Mith Bunder Road in Kopri (East). The security drill by the civic body aimed at testing emergency response preparedness and inter-agency coordination. 

According to an official statement from the TMC, the Disaster Management Cell conducted the drill at around 4:00 pm.
