Thane district on Thursday reported 11 new Covid-19 cases. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,649, according to a bulletin issued by the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).
According to the bulletin, no coronavirus related death was reported on September 29. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.

With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 105 active Covid-19 cases.
13 Covid-19 patients recovered on Thursday, taking the total number of recoveries since the beginning in the city to 1,94,382. The recovery rate in the TMC area is 98.85 per cent.
