<p>Thane district logged 18 <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-logs-1932-covid-19-cases-seven-deaths-23239227" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Covid-19</a> cases on Sunday. The fresh cases took the infection count in Thane to 1,96,964, as per data received by <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/thane-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a> Municipal Corporation (TMC).</p>
<p>With the addition of the latest cases, Thane currently has 189 active Covid-19 cases. No infection-related death was reported in the district, and the death toll in Thane remained unchanged at 2,162.</p>
<p>As per the bulletin, Thane now has a recovery rate of 98.81 per cent.</p>
