Thane: Two-wheeler catches fire on Ghodbunder Road near Vijay Garden, no injuries reported

According to officials, a Honda Activa (registration number MH 02 HA 6899), owned and ridden by Manu Chauhan, caught fire while travelling from Waghbil towards Vijay Garden. The cause of the fire was not immediately known

A two-wheeler caught fire on Ghodbunder Road in Thane late on Tuesday night, but no injuries were reported in the incident, according to the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).

The incident was reported at around 11:05 p.m. on July 28, 2026, near Shambhuji Hotel in the Vijay Garden area of Waghbil, Thane (West).
