'Bangladeshi immigrant' who lived in Govandi for 25 years nabbed

Wife alleges that despite showing all the documents that proved her husband is an Indian citizen, Deonar police refused to release him

A woman residing at Gautam Nagar, Govandi was left shocked and puzzled after the police carted away her husband alleging that he was an illegal Bangladeshi immigrant living in the city. Noorjahan Mondal, wife of Mansoor Ahmed Mondal said that Deonar police arrested her husband, her son and four others in the aftermath of the Hyderabad twin blasts alleging that they were illegal immigrants in the city.
