The deceased has been identified as Santosh Vitthal Gaikwad from Vidhate vasti in Baner. Tractor driver Gokul Machindra Misal (35) of Baner has been arrested by Chatushrungi police in this regard.

Ankush Vitthal Gaikwad (23), brother of Santosh, has registered a case against Misal.

According to police, Santosh was seated between the tractor and trailer during the procession.
