Adulterated mustard oil seized from Market Yard

During a routine check at Market yard, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials unearthed a racket wherein a trader was selling blended oil, claiming it was mustard oil.

FDA officials seized nearly 2,445 litres, worth approximately Rs 2 lakh, of the product being sold under the brand name ‘gau chap’.u00a0According to FDA officials, on Thursday, they were conducting a check when they came across a unit — Agarwal Trading Company — that was selling the oil.
