His visit marks a blend of development initiatives, public outreach, and tributes to prominent state figures. In Nagpur, Shah will attend the bhoomipujan (foundation stone laying ceremony) for 'Swasti Niwas' at the National Cancer Institute in Jamtha. Additionally, he will preside over the bhoomipujan for the permanent campus and perform the e-inauguration of the temporary campus of the National Forensic Science University in Kamthi.
Later in the day, the Union Minister will travel to Nanded, where he will unveil a full-length statue of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vasantrao Naik. He will also inaugurate the beautification work carried out around the statue in Anand Nagar. His visit will culminate in a grand BJP public rally ‘Shankhnad Sabha’ at Nava Mondha Ground in Nanded, followed by the formal inauguration of the BJP’s new city office in Shivajinagar.
This visit emphasizes the government’s commitment to infrastructure development, cultural recognition, and political engagement with the public at the grassroots level. It also underlines the party’s efforts to strengthen its presence in key regions ahead of upcoming electoral battles.
Looking ahead, Amit Shah is set to visit West Bengal on June 1, where he will take part in a major central government event in Kolkata. The visit is expected to highlight significant national initiatives and showcase the Centre's developmental agenda, reported ANI.
Shah will also meet with members of the BJP’s West Bengal core committee and its MLAs. These interactions aim to bolster internal coordination and develop a cohesive strategy in the lead-up to the West Bengal Assembly elections scheduled for next year.
According to BJP sources, preparations in the state have already begun, and Shah’s visit is expected to further energize the party’s campaign and organizational machinery.
