In view to escalate NDA’s prominence in the upcoming Bihar assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will address public rallies separately in various parts of Bihar on Friday.

As reported by news agency PTI, the Prime Minister will also address two poll rallies in Samastipur and Begusarai districts, while the Union Home Minister Amit Shah will participate in such programmes in Siwan and Buxar.

Before addressing the public rally in Samastipur, PM Modi will also be visiting Karpurigram, the birthplace of socialist icon and former Bihar CM the late Karpoori Thakur, who was conferred the Bharat Ratna last year by the NDA government.

Bihar unit spokesperson Niraj Kumar, while talking to the media on Friday about PM Modi and Amit Shah’s visit to Bihar, said that "four mega public rallies, which will be addressed by the PM and Shah in different parts of the state on Friday, will energise the BJP. The party is fully prepared for the assembly polls," as cited by news agency PTI.

The 243-member Bihar Assembly will go to polls in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results set to be announced on November 14.

RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, who has been declared the chief ministerial candidate of the 'Mahagathbandhan' for the assembly polls, will also hit the campaign trail on Friday with three back-to-back rallies, the last of these in the north Bihar district of Samastipur, reported PTI.

Earlier on Thursday, the BJP national president, Jagat Prakash Nadda, had also addressed election meetings in Aurangabad and Vaishali districts. Moreover, around four rallies were held by Nitish Kumar in various parts of the state to strengthen NDA’s hold against the Mahagathbandhan for the upcoming Bihar assembly polls.

As reported by news agency ANI, the Prime Minister will also interact with Bharat Ratna Karpuri Thakur’s family members around 12:15 pm. At 2 pm, he will address a public meeting in Begusarai, seeking the blessings of the people.

The Prime Minister showed confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party-National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will achieve a resounding victory in the Bihar assembly elections.
