Central government declares May 28 holiday for Bakrid 2026

According to the official notification, the revised holiday will apply to all Central government administrative offices functioning in the national capital region

The Central government has announced that all administrative offices located in Delhi and New Delhi will remain closed on May 28, 2026 on account of Eid-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).

The holiday has been shifted from the earlier notified date of May 27, 2026.
