Central Railway (CR) generated freight revenue of Rs 4,117.07 crore by loading a total of 41.10 million tonnes (MT) of commodities during the April–September 2026 period. 

As per the official statement shared by the Central Railway, coal emerged as the largest contributor to both freight earnings and loading, according to the railway’s commodity-wise freight revenue and loading data.
