Earlier, Cantonment police had arrested Salim after Gaus Shaikh, who was arrested in the ghostwriting-examination issue, spilled the beans.

“Though Salim was arrested earlier by the Cantonment police, we have once again apprehended him as during the investigation of three junior clerks of UoP’s examination department, his role surfaced,” said API Mahesh Bolkotgi of Chatushrungi police station, who is also an investigating officer in the case.
