Although deputy mayor N Dayanand had made it big at a young age, he isn't resting on his laurels. The first-time corporator from Bennigana Halli ward has now set his eyes set on becoming a bureaucrat.
The 27-year-old, the most qualified neta in the BBMP, appeared for the UPSC exam at the National College in Basavanagudi yesterday.

An M-tech, Dayanand believes that one can serve people in two ways either by getting into politics or by joining the civil services.
