DGHS issues advisory for travellers from Ebola-affected countries

Travellers who develop symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or bleeding, or who have had direct contact with infected individuals, have been urged to immediately inform airport health authorities. They are also advised to seek medical attention within 21 days of arrival

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has issued a health advisory for passengers travelling from or transiting through Ebola-affected countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and South Sudan.

Travellers who develop symptoms such as fever, vomiting, diarrhoea, or bleeding, or who have had direct contact with infected individuals, have been urged to immediately inform airport health authorities. They are also advised to seek medical attention within 21 days of arrival.
