In the line of duty: Policeman fractures leg in hit-and-run

A constable from Pant Nagar police station and his colleague were chasing two thieves on a bike when they knocked down the cops and absconded

An intense chase to flag down two thieves, who were getting away on a bike, left an on-duty constable with a fractured leg yesterday at MG Road, towards Kurla. Constable Yashwant Kadam and colleague Chandrakand Gore from Pant Nagar police station on Monday had received a message about two suspicious riders and trailed the them and asked them to stop. However, the two instead of stopping, hit Kadam, fracturing his leg and fled the scene.
