Lightning strikes kill five, including two minors, across Jharkhand in 24 hours

A six-year-old boy also suffered burn injuries after lightning struck while children were plucking mangoes near their home in Garhwa

At least five persons, including two minors, were killed in separate lightning strikes across four districts of Jharkhand in the past 24 hours, police said on Monday.

Two deaths each were reported from Ranchi and Garhwa districts, while one person was killed in Gumla district, they said. In Ranchi district, two persons were killed in separate incidents.
