Many people between the age of 25 and 35 are now eager to secure their future. And mostly from the metros," said Yashish Dahiya, CEO, Policy Bazaar. His website has been attracting many young investors from Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. Harsh Roongta, CEO of Apna Insurance, said, "With around 1,500 people visiting our website this year, as compared to the 800-850 visitors we received in the same month last year, the traffic has almost doubled." For busy youngsters online investment saves time and is handy. "I don't have time to look for an agent. For me, banking on insurance websites is very convenient," said Sidharth Sabikhi, an entrepreneur. Sabikhi has recently bought a medical insurance through a website. Transparency and 24/7 accessibility give an upper edge to these insurance websites. Vinit Singh, an engineer, is searching the Internet for the best investment policy. He too prefers insurance portals. He said, "I don't trust agents. Every agent promotes the policy that brings him the maximum commission. Websites are more transparent. They exhibit all the policies. I can compare prices and buy the best one."
