In a major boost to the fight against cancer, Maharashtra cabinet approves Rs 300 crore medical cyclotron project in Nagpur

The Maharashtra cabinet has approved a Rs 300 crore High Energy Medical Cyclotron Project in Nagpur to strengthen cancer diagnosis, treatment and research in central India. The facility will improve access to PET-CT and Nuclear Medicine services and reduce dependence on Mumbai and Hyderabad

The Maharashtra cabinet on Tuesday approved the establishment of a High Energy Medical Cyclotron Project (HEMCP) in Nagpur at an estimated cost of Rs 300 crore to strengthen cancer diagnosis, treatment, and research facilities in central India.
