Pune recorded a maximum temperature of 36.3 degrees Celsius on Wednesday, even as several parts of Maharashtra, particularly Vidarbha, continued to reel under intense heatwave conditions, with Wardha emerging as the hottest place in the state at 47.1 degrees Celsius.
