Several Vidarbha cities cross 42 degrees Celsius, Nagpur hottest in Maharashtra at 43.2 degrees Celsius

Vidarbha remained the hottest region in Maharashtra. Apart from Nagpur, other cities in the region also witnessed high temperatures, with Wardha recording 42.5 degrees Celsius, Akola 42.3 degrees Celsius, and Amravati, and Gondia 42.2 degrees Celsius

Maharashtra continued to reel under hot and dry conditions on Monday, with several parts of the Vidarbha region recording temperatures above 42 degrees Celsius, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
Nagpur recorded the state's highest maximum temperature at 43.2 degrees Celsius, 1.6 degrees Celsius above normal, as Vidarbha remained the hottest region in Maharashtra.
