Mob attacks police station in Odisha after road mishap

A mob today went berserk and attacked local police station, set afire a truck and damaged a fire tender following death of a school boy in a road mishap in Odisha's Nayagarh district, police said
The mishap occurred this morning when the victim Kadam Malick, a 7th standard student of Brajendra High School, was run over by a truck. The boy was returning home at Sinduria village after attending classes.
He died on the spot, superintendent of police, Nayagarh, Bhagyadhar Behera said. As the news of death spread, hundreds of villagers took to the street and set the truck on fire before gratecrashing into the Nayagarh Sadar police station where they damaged furniture and other materials.
