IMD forecasts heavy to extremely heavy rainfall across Maharashtra till July 7

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather warning for Maharashtra, forecasting intense rainfall activity across the state over the next week due to active monsoon systems.

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), Mumbai, said several weather systems are likely to trigger widespread rainfall, including heavy to very heavy spells, particularly over Konkan and the adjoining ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra.
