IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar; issues orange alert

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday issued an orange alert for Mumbai, Thane and Palghar, warning of heavy rainfall.
The weather alert mentioned, "Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy rainfall at isolated places was likely on July 1."
