Opposition members plan to move the governor against the Alliance University Bill that was passed hurriedly amidst the din in the Legislative Council, last week.

While the bill paves way for the establishment of the first private university in the state, it has already created a flutter in political circles thanks to the alleged frauds committed by the company bagging the permission and the surprising hurry shown by the ruling party to push the bill through.
