NIRF 2024: IIT Madras tops rankings for 6th straight year, IIT Bombay on number 3

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras ranked top in the National Institute Ranking Framework, 2024 for the sixth consecutive year, while the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru was ranked as the best university for the ninth year in a row. IIT Bombay was ranked number 3, according to the Ministry of Education.
The ninth edition of the rankings was announced by Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday.
